Ingredients
- 2 boxes instant pudding (3.2 oz. boxes)
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups vodka (We vote for chocolate flavored!)
- 4 cups whipped topping or cream (separated– you’ll use some in the filling and some for layering), plus additional on top, if desired
- 15 Twinkies, sliced in half horizontally
- 1/2 cup white crème de cacao or white chocolate liqueur
- White chocolate shavings for garnish, if desired
Instructions
- Make the vanilla pudding shot filling. Pour the pudding mix into a large mixing bowl. Add the milk and the vodka and stir until the mixture is completely combined and begins to thicken. Stir in 2 cups of the whipped topping.
- Layer the ingredients in the trifle bowl in this order: Pudding, whipped topping, Twinkies, and a few tablespoons of the liqueur sprinkled over the Twinkies. Repeat until ingredients are expended.
- Refrigerate trifle for several hours or overnight, to allow flavors to blend.
- Before serving, top with additional whipped topping and white chocolate shavings, if desired.
