On April 18, 2015 at 11:30 a.m., three CSU alumni and local entrepreneurs will be hosting a world record s’more roasting event in a parking lot at CSU, with rentals provided by FLEXX Productions.

We hope you will all GO support Stuff’n Mallows and enjoy some s’mores!

From the Rocky Mountain Collegian:

Three business graduates from Colorado State University were asked in one of their classes at CSU to create a business model. Their first idea was already taken. Their second, chocolate filled marshmallows. This is how Stuff’N Mallows was born.

Now the group is trying to break the world record for the most people roasting s’mores simultaneously.

The graduates found that the idea was successful and continued making and selling the marshmallows after they graduated.

“We sell to about 200 stores nationwide,” said James Schrack, Co-Founder and CEO of Stuff’N Mallows.

Stuff”N Mallows will be hosting a world record event for charity Saturday in an attempt to introduce their marshmallows to more customers in the Fort Collins area.

“We thought, what’s a kind of fun, promo thing we could do for the summer,” Schrack said. “I just looked it up, world records involving s’mores. … There is a record for 250 people roasting s’mores simultaneously. We thought, heck, let’s try and beat the record and get into the Guinness book of world records.”

The event will start at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in parking lot 240 at CSU. Tickets will be $5 and all proceeds will go to KOA cares camps.

“As a kid I always wanted to get a world record,” Schrack said.
