THE ANNUAL NIGHTLIGHTS TREE RAISING IS NOVEMBER 3RD!
We need volunteers to help us raise the 50′ tree and string over 25,000 lights on November 3rd for one of three shifts:
The Nightlights Tree is a sign of hope to local children in our community coping with the presence of abuse or neglect in their young lives. This tree alone raises over $100,000 for the youth that we serve, year after year. It is our most successful and important fundraising event, as it brings the entire community together to deliver the joy of Christmas to children experiencing great hardship. To learn more about the Nightlights Tree, please visit www.GiveaNightlight.com and plan to join us for the annual tree lighting on December 1st, 2013 from 6pm-7pm.
PLEASE, do not volunteer if you cannot commit to your entire shift. The construction of this tree is a science, we are counting on everyone who registers for this volunteer opportunity to be there.
PLEASE, do not bring your young children with you. This is a construction site, no supervision or child care is provided.
PLEASE, do not bring any additional helpers with you. We will not be able to provide them with a volunteer activity.
PLEASE DO BRING warm clothing, layers, gloves, sturdy work shoes, etc… This volunteer activity is entirely outside and historically it is very cold on the day of the tree raising!
