FLEXX Productions

Today is Small Business Saturday—a day to celebrate and support small business and all they do for our community. As a small business, FLEXX wants to recognize some of the remarkable brick and mortar businesses that are small and local in northern Colorado.

Apparel and Accessories

Fine & Funky is located in the small town of Timnath, just a couple of minutes east of Fort Collins. Each month Megan Barz, the store’s owner, travels to New York and LA and brings back the newest styles of women’s clothing and accessories; she then opens the store one weekend a month to keep costs low (you can check for those dates on their website–they’re open THIS WEEKEND). The best part: Fine & Funky has donated more than $30,000 to local non-profits! We hear they will have free Starbucks and pastries for Small Business Saturday…YUM!

Day Spas

Buzz & Bliss is a unique salon and spa for men and women located on South Mason Street in Fort Collins. Their skincare and massage professional will connect you to an oasis of total well-being and relaxation. They even offer convenient spa packages to spoil that special someone in your life (hint, hint gentlemen!) Today Buzz & Bliss is offering 25% off all hair care products including Loreal Professional, Moroccan Oil, TIGI, and Unite. For more amazing deals, click here.

Home Décor and Gifts

Cherry Lime Boutique is a local crafter and artisan’s consignment boutique in Loveland. Two moms that have ten (yes TEN!) children between them started Cherry Lime in 2011. The store features amazing stocking stuffers including jewelry, hair accessories, soy candles, and adorable baby headbands and hats. They also just expanded and are now refinishing furniture to sell in their store. Cherry Lime is having a special Small Business Saturday sale today where you might even catch a glimpse of Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Vera’s House Beautiful is a relatively new boutique that specializes in vintage clothing, jewelry, nick-knacks, furniture and décor. Set in a stunning Victorian house in the old town district of Loveland, each room is elegantly staged showcasing unique re-purposed pieces that the owner, Vera, travels near and far to find.

White Balcony, an Old Town Fort Collins favorite, carries a huge mix of accessories, gifts and greeting cards, specializing in unique and edgy merchandise. Merchandise is presented in exciting displays based on seasonal motifs, color palettes, and other nutty ideas.

Outdoor Gear

Jax Mercantile Co. has been a staple in the landscape of small businesses in Fort Collins for over fifty years. With five locations across the Colorado Front Range, the continuously educated Jax staff work hard to ensure the customer gets the best equipment for their particular needs. The Jax staff can help you find the perfect gift for the men in your life.

Restaurants & Cafes

With vintage and custom bicycles, craft beers, and espresso bar, Cranknstein is a hipster heaven. Recently celebrating their first birthday at their North College location in Fort Collins, they feature live music on Tuesday and Thursday nights. A Cranknstein gift card would be a perfect stocking stuffer for any bicycle, beer, OR coffee fanatic.

Next Door is a new tapas bar located next to the Rialto Theater in downtown Loveland. The historic architecture and design create a unique and ultra-chic atmosphere. They offer weekly specials including happy hour daily from 2 to 6pm and have a seasonally rotating menu—we recommend their fried avocado tapas with tomatillo green salsa, yummo! Click here for coupons for free tapas or 15% off your total ticket.

Specialty Kitchen Supplies

The Cupboard, with its distinctive green awning in Old Town Fort Collins, has been a northern Colorado shopping destination for over forty years.  Within the store, you will find a diverse array of merchandise for both food preparation and food presentation. Their merchandising is constantly changing, especially during the holidays when their seasonal merchandise fills the storefront windows.

Old Town Spice Shop is family owned and operated and just celebrated their second  anniversary at their location on Linden Street in Old Town Fort Collins. They sell only the highest quality spices, blends, salts, sugars, extracts, peppers, and teas in the country. You can even smell, touch, and taste every edible product in their store before purchasing.
