Quentin Tarantino recently chose Telluride, Co. to depict western Wyoming in his upcoming film, The Hateful Eight and FLEXX Productions was there to help! Our large tents were used to get the set ready for filming which will begin before Christmas. The Hateful Eight tells the story of bounty hunters in post-Civil War Wyoming who get caught in a scenario of betrayal and deceit while seeking shelter from a blizzard.
Tarantino chose the location himself after falling in love with the Schmid Family Ranch near downtown Telluride. Filming will take place during the winter and our tents will remain standing throughout the duration of that time.
Two of our Clearspan 66’ wide tents with glass doors were used for the set because of their durability and reliability to withstand the Colorado weather, not to mention they look great! Our Clearspan tents are our strongest and will definitely not let Mr. Tarantino down! Below are some pictures of our tents on location with the beautiful Colorado backdrop.
