There’s a new TV competition show on CBS that is filmed entirely under a (you guessed it!) big, rental tent! The American Baking Competition was shot in what appears to be a 40×70 Clearspan tent with clear side walls, in a grassy field in Ball Ground, Georgia.

This show is just another example of all the nifty things you can do under a tent. They brought in rental flooring, temporary kitchen stations, rental ovens, refrigerators, and all sorts of fun staging decor to give a homey vibe.

This Clearspan tent is really what makes this all possible. Clearspans are large tents without center poles which allows events to feel more like they are being held in a venue, rather than just a tent. Truly a blank canvas, Clearspans allow you to bring your wildest dreams to fruition.

The American Baking Competition airs on Wednesday nights at 7pm on CBS– you can catch up on episodes here (and see the tent from the outside)! One of the most interesting recipes we’ve seen yet on this show is Southern lady, Francine’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Bacon Pie. Check out the recipe here.
